Coming Thursday the 6th of October is one of those magical evenings of art, craft, artisans, fashion, music and performance on K’Road. Between 6 and 9 you can for example check out the DJ battle at Ironbank, the craft market in St. Kevins Arcade, pop into Buana Satu of course for a look at the beautiful Tapa gown and photography exhibition by Glenn Jowitt and much much more live music, performance art goodness all along K’Road.
Have a look here for the events map and programme.
Karangahape Road, better known as K-road, oozes with character and spunk, and is one of the groovier places to hang out in Auckland. It keeps on getting better with the rise and fall of iconic night spots, hip and ethnic eateries, fashion and second hand shopping and good coffee and pizza. Buana Satu has been on the scene since 1992, a destination shop for those in search of tropical inspiration for their homes, hand crafted gifts and jewellery and artisan goodness from Aotearoa and the world. Buana Satu is run by mother-daughter team Helen and Milly and their partners, who infuse this oasis of colour and calm on the sometime hectic K-Road strip with their own kind of soul and eye for beautiful things.
